Bayou - Terms and conditions
Last updated: March 2026
1. About Us
When you book with us through our website, you are entering into a contract with Bayou ("we", "us", "our"). Our website is hosted by Easol Inc. ("Platform Provider"), who processes payments on our behalf but is not a party to your booking.
2. Bookings
2.1 A booking is confirmed once you receive a Booking Confirmation email from us. Until that point, no contract exists.
2.2 You must be 18 or over to make a booking. If you are booking on behalf of others, you are responsible for ensuring all members of your party comply with these terms.
2.3 You are responsible for ensuring all information provided at the time of booking is complete and accurate.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Prices are as displayed on the website at the time of booking. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
3.2 If you are paying in a different currency to the listing currency, the exchange rate applied will be the prevailing rate at the time of each payment. Exchange rate fees may apply.
3.3 Outstanding balances must be paid by the due date shown on your Booking Confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel bookings where payment is not received by the due date.
3.4 All prices exclude travel insurance, flights, visas, vaccinations, and personal expenses unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 You may cancel any booking at any time by contacting us in writing by email. Cancellations take effect from the date we receive your request.
4.2 While bookings can always be cancelled, refund eligibility depends on how far in advance of the event you cancel.
4.3 Where a booking includes multiple components (e.g. event ticket, accommodation, and workshops), the refund terms above apply separately to each component. You may cancel individual components without affecting the rest of your booking.
4.4 All refunds are made less any platform, transaction, and processing fees that have been incurred. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
5. Cancellation or Changes by Us
5.1 We may occasionally need to cancel or make changes to the event or accommodation. If we make a significant change, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the choice to accept the change, receive a full refund, or transfer to an alternative option if available.
5.2 We are not liable for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest. We recommend you take out appropriate travel insurance.
6. Your Responsibilities
6.1 You participate in all experiences at your own risk. You are responsible for the safeguarding of your personal belongings.
6.2 You must behave responsibly and follow all safety instructions and site rules. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is disruptive or dangerous, without refund.
7. Liability
7.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
7.2 Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to the total amount you paid for the booking.
7.3 Any complaints must be raised in writing within 30 days of the event end date.
8. General
8.1 We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
8.2 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force.
8.3 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
