Overview
We will share with you the way that surfing can become more of a spiritual journey, as you learn how to read the waves and become one with the ocean. Surfing involves complete surrender to the unpredictability, it helps us realise the power of nature, but also the healing element of water. In this way, yoga and surf become the perfect combination to bring you back into more flow and creativity.

Hosts
Lucy and Danny are very much yin and yang, and epitomise the different qualities of water. Both have connected with water in very different ways, one focused on using water for rehabilitation, one to travel the world on adventures, but both appreciate, and value water's unique power. They have combined their 20 years of experience to curate a collection of retreats that share their personal experiences with water.
Danny Aperia
Danny is your main surf teacher on the trip and an extreme sports expert. After many years of working experience in several surf camps in Srilanka he knows how to meet the demands of every surf level. ranging from beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers.
Lucy Cameron
After ditching her professional dance career in London, Lucy became a traveling yoga teacher specialising in Yoga for Surfers. Lucy will be leading yoga and assisting in surf sessions as well as being on site for chats!

The Hottest Spot to Ride The Waves
Waikato is home to a must visit surf destination, Raglan! Raglan's Manu Bay, Whale Bay and Indicators are 3 of the most famous and high performance left handers in the country. Waikato's west coast location gets very consistent and often big, raw, southwesterly swells that produce great surf. Locals can get protective of these breaks, so know the rules and be careful.

I've never surfed before, can I still join?
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome, and lessons are available for beginners too.
I don't want to do yoga, can I still join?
All classes are optional, so you can join only the elements of the retreat you're interested in.
I'm travelling alone, do you accommodate solo travellers?
Yes! We have options to book a bed in a shared room, and actually we usually have many solo travellers on our retreats
