Schedule
-
Day 1: Fethiye to Cleopatra’s Baths
Check-in is at 9am and we aim to board our gulet around 10am for welcome speeches and an introduction to Captain and crew. After departing Fethiye harbour around 10.30-11am, we cruise straight to Cleopatra’s Baths, an ancient hammam dating back to Roman times.
We then move on to another nearby bay (Merdivenli Koyu) that features caves and a beach to explore before going for an optional short hike to a Turkish shepherd’s village.
We then finish the evening at a bay near Cleopatra’s Baths and overnight there.
-
Day 2: Cleopatra’s Baths to Ekincik
This morning we cruise over to Ekincik. Here there is the chance for an optional excursion into Dalyan. This excursion will take us by small boat into the lake lands of the Dalyan area, past the ancient Lycian rock tombs to experience Turkey’s memorable mud baths.
-
Day 3: Ekincik to Marmaris
This morning we head over to a picturesque bay for a swim stop before entering Marmaris Harbour after lunch, around 2pm. We can wander around the old city, which is still littered with historical houses that line the cobbled streets and check out the seaside markets and grand bazaar. There are plenty of waterside cafes and bars to sample as well and time to hunt for a good place for dinner in the evening. After dinner we head back to the boat for a few drinks, before experiencing the legendary nightlife of Marmaris!
-
Day 4: Marmaris to Bozukkale
After breakfast, we will have some more time to explore the city before making our way to Kadirga bay at around noon. This peaceful and secluded beachfront is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the harbour. We can take a dip in the refreshing water to energize ourselves after a late night out.
Later, we will continue our journey to Bozukkale, where there is the opportunity to climb up the peninsula’s ancient citadel for some impressive views and to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. We spend the night on board in Bozukkale.
-
Day 5: Bozukkale to Rabbit Island
Today is all cruising and swimming in the amazing bays between Bozukkale and Tavsanbuku Adasi (also known as Rabbit Island). Snorkelling, taking a dive or jet-skiing, marvelling at the colour of the crystal sea – today is all about life in the water!
-
Day 6: Rabbit Island to Datca
After breakfast near Rabbit Island, we head to our final cruise destination, Datca, getting there around noon. We have lunch soon after docking.
Datca town is not far from Knidos, the famous ruins at the end of the peninsula. We provide an excursion after lunch (mini-bus transfer and entrance all included!) to Knidos so that everyone has the chance to visit this unforgettable site. -
Day 7: Datca to Bodrum
Time to say goodbye to your shipmates and head on to the next part of your adventures, which could be a night or two in Bodrum (recommended), a ferry over to the Greek island of Kos, or a transfer (1 hour by shuttle bus) to Bodrum airport for a flight to Istanbul or countless international connections.
